From Ford Escorts to Subaru STI: My Journey in Car Modification

Cars have been a part of my life since I was young. My first project was a Ford Escort MK2, where I swapped in a Pinto engine. That experience ignited a passion for car modification, and I've enjoyed tinkering with anything with an engine ever since. You can follow my latest projects on Instagram: @andrew.broom1: insert link to Andrew's Instagram.

My Current Ride: A 2003 Subaru Blobeye STI

My current pride and joy is a 2003 Blobeye STI. It's a thrill to drive, and I've pushed it to 155mph, always hungry for more. While I haven't clocked its 0-60 time yet, that's on the list!

From Saxo VTR to Subaru STI: My Car History

Before the Subaru, there was a long hiatus from car modification. But my passion never died. My very first car was a 1.6 MK1 Ford Focus, which I quickly traded for a more exciting Saxo VTR (pictures to come!). The Saxo, of course, got the full modification treatment.

Growing up surrounded by car modifications, I was mesmerized by the creativity and individuality showcased in magazines like Max Power and events like Weston Wheels shows. This early exposure continues to fuel my passion.
