Welcome to VW Clubs 2020

Our club is aimed at owners and enthusiasts of the Volkswagen brand whether that be cars, campers, vans and anything in between. If it's got a VW badge you're in!

As big VW enthusiasts, Karl and Millie decided to create a club that would welcome not only owners but also enthusiasts of Volkswagens from all around the world. The club was set up during March 2020 as the UK entered the first of the COVID lockdowns, it was created not only as a way for us to engage with other like-minded people and to remain social, albeit from a distance, but to also share and enjoy being a part of a club that has since gone on to become part of a very big VW family. We wanted to set up a club that would involve not only car owners but everything VW as we had a vision to welcome members that all shared the same passion for the VW brand.

Our club currently has just over 9,000 members on our Facebook page and over 1,200 followers on Instagram and along with our website www.vwclubs2020.com, we are extremely proud to be a part of this big VW family. Our members enjoy staying in touch with each other via our Facebook page & Instagram, they can share views, photos and ideas with each other and also get themselves involved within the competitions that we run regularly to win a space on our website, cover photo competitions and a chance to win club merchandise. We also use these platforms to communicate upcoming events and ideas that we have as a club and to gain feedback from our members on bigger and better plans we have for us.

When COVID-19 hit the UK it put a stop to the Events we had planned for 2020, however, we were lucky enough to be able to host our first gathering in August of that year - this was a chance for us to finally meet our members and to get to see some of the amazing VW's that make up this club. Since then we have unfortunately had to postpone future events until lockdown has been lifted, however, we have some great plans for the future which include a drive-in cinema event, a club camp-out, stands at shows and bigger and better club gatherings.

We hold regular competitions on our Facebook and Instagram pages with members being in for a chance to win a space on the Members page of our website, photo cover competitions and free club merchandise. We will also be looking to run competitions such as show and shine and best in show at our club meets in the future.

All the Cars in the Online Version of our Magazine will eventually appear in our Fully Printed Magazine, the cars with the most Views, appear sooner, the Magazine is sold the world over through Amazon, making it easier and faster for people around the world to get their copy.
